Head coach Juan Rojas: "I began my fitness journey as an obese teenager at 15 years old. Through improper nutrition practices and without weight training I was able to lose 90 lbs. in one year. Unfortunately, due to lack of education in the sport and nutrition field at the time, I developed an eating disorder and noticed that getting "skinny" was not necessarily the body I had always wanted. As I began looking into weight training and nutrition to a greater degree, I learned that I had done things wrong and there was a way to get the body I wanted. Slowly but surely at 17 years old I began a beautiful self journey with the sport of bodybuilding. Through many years now of training and nutrition practices on myself, along with the guidance of many of the world's top coaches and bodybuilders, I have been able to accumulate a massive amount of practical knowledge in order to help others see that fitness and nutrition can change your life dramatically. They will make you healthier, feel better in your day to day life, and add so much value to your self esteem and mental health. Fitness will teach you some amazing life lessons, one of the greatest being that if you work as hard and efficiently as you possibly can, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Going from winning my first bodybuilding show and winning the overall best poser award to currently preparing for the best amateur show in Canada, bodybuilding is one of the biggest pursuits I have in my life. Being a full time strength and conditioning coach for many years I have worked with many high level athletes. This has allowed me to learn different client's needs and bodies in order to be able to reach their goals. As the years have gone by I now deal with hundreds of clients on a monthly basis as a nutritionist at one of the best gyms in the Toronto area.
